Control
NFS-640 Panel – Expandable, networkable and scalable, the
NFS-640 is designed for medium-sized applications. Easy to
program, this panel is backward compatible and offers three
display options.
NFS-3030 Panel – An expandable system designed for larger
applications, the NFS-3030 is also a network system. One
system can be used to monitor a large facility, or a combina-
tion of networked NFS-640 and NFS-3030 systems can be
married to form the perfect solution for any building or group
of buildings.
Network
NOTI•FIRE•NET™ – Full local networking of NOTIFIER
intelligent systems with three network annunciation and
control options.
NCA (Network Control Annunciator) – The NCA is an
intuitive 640-character display with on-board keyboard
and network system control capabilities.
NCS (Network Control Station) – The NCS is a Windows®
based PC workstation with color graphics and complete
network system control capabilities.
NWS Web Server – The NWS is a web-based device that
acts as an HTML server, allowing remote access to the
NOTI•FIRE•NET via internet, intranet or dial-up
connections.
UniNet™ 2000 – Full local or wide area networking of
NOTIFIER intelligent systems and many competitive fire or
building monitoring systems. Includes PC-based workstation
and Window-based color graphics.
Voice
XPIQ – This intelligent audio transponder is ideal for
multichannel voice evacuation systems. It delivers up to four
distinct messages to four separate areas, simultaneously.
Efficient, compact design and user-friendly programming
cut installation time and save money.
Power
ACPS – Addressable Charger Power Supply offers flexible,
programmable notification circuits to customize your system
without extra wire runs. Built-in strobe synchronization
meets code requirements without adding modules. Lets you
synchronize multiple ACPS units.
Detection
Advanced Detection – Provides stability and very early
warning capability where unique hazards and environmental
conditions exist that prohibit the use of traditional smoke
detectors. Includes VIEW® (Very Intelligent Early Warning)
for clean environments, HARSH™ (Hostile Area Smoke Head)
for dirty environments and Acclimate Plus™ for
changing/adapting environments.

The Onyx Series is your best choice because it offers
Flexibility
With the NFS-640 control panel for small or medium
applications and the NFS-3030 for larger applications,
the Onyx Series adjusts to fit any size project. Each panel
supports up to 318 intelligent, addressable points per
Signaling Line Circuit (SLC).
The three display options allow you to display event informa-
tion with various levels of detail throughout each building and
the sleek cabinet has options that are available for virtually
any application.
Programming options make installation easy to do from the
panel keypad, from a Windows based PC, or from an NCS
network graphic PC.
Expandability
The NFS-640 has one SLC Loop, expandable to two, and the
NFS-3030 has one SLC Loop expandable to 10. Any Onyx
system can grow as your facility grows.

Network Control
Each Onyx panel functions separately, and can communicate
on a network with annunciation on a PC, whether it be a
Network Control System (NCS) or on an UniNet 2000 network,
as well annunciation on a network LCD display (NCA) The
Onyx Series is also backward compatible with previous
network systems (i.e., NOTI•FIRE•NET).
Speed
The Onyx intelligent device protocol (FlashScan™) polling
and response time exceed worldwide code requirements
The Onyx Network Interface is among the fastest in the
industry – speed to Life Safety is never compromised.
Online Access
The NWS Web Server provides remote access to the
NOTI•FIRE•NET. Web browsing features enable the offsite
evaluation and assessment of activities such as fire alarm
events, current system status and historical events.
