Research
Current: Biology Field: Phenology

Phenology is the study of change in species life cycle seasonally due to climate change.

We studied how climate change affects plants blooming and leaf-out cycle. Also

monitored salamander response to environmental changes and temperature. Additionally,

we set cameras in woods to monitor wildlife behavior during different temperatures.

Current: Immunology: Stress Hormones

Researched on IgA levels before and after an activity to determine how to stress an

individual is. IgA hormones in spit indicate stress levels in a person hormone. Stress is
 determined depending on how low or high IgA levels appear. Participants involved in the

studies were faculty members, mostly teachers.

Biology Phage

A bacteriophage is also known as phage, a virus that infects and replicates within host

bacteria. Collected environmental soil and tested for presence the phage. Then separated

the phage from the soil, and manipulated phage growth with host bacterial cells to be able

to identify its genome for further research questions about Phages.
