the Directorate of Economics and Statistics,
Andhra Pradesh annually since 2003 by
fulfilling the needs of users and covering various
aspects of the Economy of the State in latest.

In continuation of the series, the present


publication “Andhra Pradesh Economy In
Brief, 2018(Updated)” produces data on
selected indicators for Andhra Pradesh
covering various sectors of Economy for a quick
over view of the level of development in the
State. Inter state data for 16 major states on
selected indicators is also presented in this
publication.

I hope that the information available in


this publication will enhance the knowledge of
readers in assessing the present Socio-Economic
