FILE NAMING CONVENTION FOR LOOPS

Section Abbreviation & Number_Progression#_key-tempo_TimeSignature_ChordProgression

means: Progression 1
There are 3 progressions Chord Progression:
variations per song underscore between
chords
Example:

V1a_Prog1_key-C120_C_Am_G-F_G
Key & Tempo
use Uppercase
for Key
Uppercase Major
Means Verse 1 Section a lowercase minor
(use lowercase for sections to avoid symbol.
Confusion with chords. Sections A dash - between
added if progression is over 8 bars, letters means a split
i.e. 16 bars, will be split into a & b) bar, 2 chords to bar

V2 Verse 2 major A (uppercase letter)
Pre1 Pre-Chorus 1 minor m (lowercase m)
Pre2 Pre-Chorus 2 sixth 6
Ch1 Chorus 1 dominant 7th 7
Ch2 Chorus 2 major 7th M7 (uppercase M)
TA Turnaround minor 7th m7 (lowercase m)
Br Bridge add 9 9
Bkdn Breakdown eleven 11

Numbers indicate which suspended 4th s4 (lowercase s + Number)
section by number (1,2,3 etc.) suspended 2nd s2 (lowercase s + Number)
Lowercase letters (a,b, etc) flatted 3rd b3
indicate which sub-section flatted 5th b5
Example: Ch1a & Ch1b flatted 7th b7

TIME SIGNATURES • Time Signature is ALWAYS 4/4 unless noted. Examples:

indicates 3/4 time indicates 6/8 time
