"Immunology"

author.Lucero Guadalupe Jaime Serratos

Introduction

Immunology has been one of my favorite subjects since I was in high school in order to continue
studyin this, I decided to study QFB.

Development.

Immunology interests me because it has been used in order to discover new autoimmune
diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis,
psoriasis, among others, as they affect more and more people and have become more common
among the population is why I would like to study them to know how to attack or prevent them.

Another reason why I am interested in immunology is because new vaccines have been
produced in order to treatment of diseases such as smallpox, polio, tuberculosis, mumps,
measles, rubella and virus infection of the papilloma. This is of great importance because, as we
know, bacteria and viruses have become more resistant, so by applying a more effective vaccine
a better immune response is generated, since it protects the body if a pathogen enters. Results
have been found against the most resistant bacteria and that seems very interesting to me.

Conclusion.

It can be concluded that immunology is of great importance since, thanks to this science, new
diseases have been discovered. In addition, more effective vaccines against viruses and resistant
bacteria have been developed, which is why immunology has a great impact on the health of
society.
