and Automated Vehicle Environment: Impacts
on Safety and Emissions
TEMA (leader)
Main objective: to develop an integrated research focused on advanced
algorithms to reduce driving behavior volatility through safety warnings and
emissions reductions in a connected vehicle environment

It measures instantaneous emission rates of the various pollutants in “real-

world” driving conditions – CO2, NOX, PM
