HT- 2 Air & Ground Headset and Microphone Test Set

The HT-2 is a battery-powered tester capable of checking high impedance fixed

wing, rotary wing, ground crew, mechanic and pushback headsets. It also can test
high impedance aviation headphones, hand-held microphones and extension wires.

This tester is ideal for Flight Schools, Flight Operations, Ground Services companies,
Headset Sales Facilities, Calibration Labs, Avionics Shops and any Aircraft Service or
Repair Facility.

Features:

 Battery operation with low battery alert.

 Test microphones fidelity by amplifying its output, under normal speech

conditions, and applying the signal to the phones or the front panel speaker.

 Test headphones, using an external microphone or an internal 1 KHz sinusoidal

tone.

 Test mono and stereo headphones.

 Test PTT switches and extension wires.

Not having to push any PTT switch to activate the tester gives the advantage of
using both hands to find momentary interruptions in the wiring.
