Safety Tips & Cleaning Instructions
Follow these tips to keep your HT-2 working well for a long time:
Clean your HT-2 with a soft lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
Do not expose the tester to sun, rain or moisture to avoid any malfunction.
Clean the headset plugs before inserting them into the tester jack(s)
Remove the battery if the unit is not going to be used for a long period of
time.

HT- 2 Air & Ground Headset and Microphone Test Set
This tester is ideal for Flight Schools, Flight Operations, Ground Services companies,
Headset Sales Facilities, Calibration Labs, Avionics Shops and any Aircraft Service or
Repair Facility.
Features:
Not having to push any PTT switch to activate the tester gives the advantage of
using both hands to find momentary interruptions in the wiring.
Accepts M642/4-1 (PJ-055B), M642/5-1 (PJ-068), M642/2-1 (PJ-051B) and U-174/U plugs.

CONTROLS
POWER ON LED AND POWER ON SWITCH
The POWER ON led lights when the POWER ON SWITCH is in the on position.
This led also monitor the battery status and blinks when the battery needs
replacing.
INPUT SWITCH
In the MIC position the signal of the microphone connected to the tester is
applied to the input of the audio amplifier.
In the TONE position a tone of 1 KHz. is applied to the input of the audio
amplifier.
OUTPUT SWITCH
In the PHONES position, the output of the audio amplifier is applied to the
phones.
In the SPEAKER position, the output of the audio amplifier is applied to the
speaker.
HELICOPTER JACK
This jack is for connection of helicopter high impedance headsets.
Accepts U-174/U plugs.
PTT LED
The PTT led illuminates when the microphone transmit button is depressed.
