The butterfly method for comparing fractions and see which fraction is greater than, 3.H. Compare two fractions having the same numerator
less than, or equal to. or denominator in problems by reasoning about their
sizes and justifying the conclusion using symbols,
words, objects, and pictorial models.

Objectives The students will learn the butterfly method to compare two fractions. Materials Needed

Information We will be using a white board. We will start with reviewing with
