    This document studies the rheological properties of mixtures of tara gum and xanthan gum at different concentrations. It analyzes viscosity, consistency coefficient, flow index and flow limit at 0%, 30% and 50% concentrations of tara gum. Viscosity increases with higher tara gum concentration while flow index decreases. The consistency coefficient and flow limit also increase with greater tara gum amounts. Plots of the data show linear relationships between several rheological properties.
