SECTION-A (60 Marks)

Q. No.1 Explain any THREE (03) of the following with reference to the context. Each answer must be in
100-125 words. (15)
a) “I have had mine ….. the one that was never written”.
b) “People always say we’re the oldest and dullest family in the country. Nothing ever happens to the
Sydney”.
c) “He looked down at the pearl in his hand. But how could he test it, in the light of the river, in the light
of the eyes of Diana?”
d) “Three times I‘ve fought duel on account of women. I’ve refused twelve women, and nine have refused
me.”
e) Now one could imagine that the little front legs rubbed against each other lightly, joyfully. The horrible
danger was over, it had escaped; it was ready for life again.
