I am writing this letter of recommendation for Madeline Hall. Madeline is a 
Kurt Kollmann  student here at Merced High School.   
Principal 
  Madeline has worked hard in high school. What stands out to me is her 
Jannette McAuley  willingness to learn and generosity to others. She is ranked thirteen in her 
Associate Principal, 
Guidance Services  class of 419 students with an academic GPA of 4.27. Madeline plans to 
  continue her education at the college level, majoring in art with a minor in 
Joel Sebastian  nutrition. Based on her hard work and school involvement, Madeline always 
Associate Principal, 
Teaching and Learning 
strives for her best.   
 
James Schuller  Madeline has been very active through her high school career. She has 
Chris Tufts  played varsity water polo and varsity swimming all four years. She has 
Associate Principals,  received many honors in her athletics - MHS Water Polo MVP, Central 
Student Services 
  California Conference First Team, and All-American Academic Team. In 
Haydee Arreola  addition, she is involved with the Orange Wave, Pacific Club, and as a 
Activities Director  mentor to special need students through our Peer Assisted Learner. 
 
Paul Hogue 
Through these extracurricular activities, I was given the opportunity to 
Athletic Director  observe her leadership and communication skills, along with collaboration 
  with others that she has demonstrated in her involvement. In addition, 
Jon Schmid 
Madeline is involved in her community. She is a community pool Skimmers 
Music Director 
  Coach to young athletes, works with children in teaching swimming lessons, 
  and has served many community service hours with the Pacific Club.
