Key responsibilities
• Monitor close- out of report recommendations and inform management for revisions to the
project HSE Plan. Monitor implementation of corrective action resulting from investigation
and conduct periodic follow-ups.
• Monitor project site HSE inspection and field level risk assessment and follow up as needed
Report. Access and communicate to all parties involved with the follow-up.
• Perform HSE assessments (before start of the work) and performance evaluations for
subcontractors to establish suitability for future project.
• In conjunction with project management staff and site contractors. Coordinate
implementation and maintenance of an Emergency Response plan for site emergencies and
maintain safety performance records.
• Coordinate HSE Management system to reduce and eliminate incidents that may cause
injuries, illnesses, death, environment damage, and financial losses.
• Coordinate safety-training course for departmental staff and educate them on safe working
practices. Provide HSE induction training to all new recruits on HSE Managements system.
• Ensure all parties including sub-Contractors Company with the project HSE plan. Maintain
project HSE files and ensure safety toolbox meetings are held regularly by supervisors.
• Coordinate regular management of HSE inspections of company and storage areas.
Recommend implementation of corrective actions.
• Act as a co – coordinator for the investigation of accident and ensure that all reporting is in
accordance with the project HSE plan. Ensure that unsafe acts or near miss situations are
reported and co-ordinate and evaluate HSE reporting. (Daily, weekly, monthly). Perform
analysis of near miss incidents, sickness reports in order to identify trends or Patterns.
• Site preparations for consultant / municipality, DEWA inspection and visit.
• Checking of all the shuttering materials, PERI Materials, machineries, scaffoldings.
• Ensure compliance by all parties with company’s HSE requirements and regulations and all
relevant legislation and statutory requirement, including rules and regulations.
• To manage in a manner that achieves quality installations meeting performance parameters
set out in the statement of requirements within the cost and schedule targets set by the
company.
