ABSTRACT: The change of entropy in a chemical reaction was determined, using Lavoisier's
calorimeter. Where carried out is as a first step a bath maria in the system to be able to find the
constant heat of the calorimeter, in which the initial substance is water (200mL) up to 70 ° C then
added a volume of 100mL of water at temperature of 36.8 ° C within a calorimeter Lavoisier,
waiting for the balance, taking a temperature of obtaining a Ck of 21,129. Finally mix in the
calorimeter into a beaker of 500 mL submerged in it, a mixture of NaOH and HCl. The reaction
temperature is taken and proceeded to perform the calculations for the entropy of formation to the
equilibrium temperature.
