 Penggunaan hampir sama dengan present perfect

 Lebih menekankan pada DURASI waktu, bukan efek
 HAS untuk subject berjumlah 1, sedangkan HAVE untuk subject berjumlah lebih dari satu
 Menggunakan BEEN setelah HAS / HAVE
 Menggunakan kata kerja –ing (VERB ING) setelah BEEN

S + has / have been + V.ing + (O + C)

Contoh:

(+) Mira has been sleeping for five hours.

(-) Mira has not been sleeping for five hours.
(?) Has Mira been sleeping for five hours?

(+) Kenny and Eric have been playing football for hours.
(-) Kenny and Eric have not been playing football for hours.
(?) Have Kenny and Eric been playing football for hours?
