Global Citizen Scholar Plan

I am driven by my strong beliefs in passion, relationships, and humility. I pursue these things
through my core strengths of achiever, futuristic, and input. I plan to live out these values
through experiences where I am developing and influencing others to achieve leadership and
action that impacts businesses and communities. To do so, I will seek opportunities to utilize
change leadership and develop new partnerships. When I face challenges or obstacles along the
way, I will remember that change is inevitable to progress and also surround myself with friends
who support my mission.

Overall Goals
I. Create large scale impact that drives progress in powerful organizations and institutions
II. Increase resources and accessibility to economic opportunity for underrepresented
communities
III. Continually seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and keep humility
at the core of everything I do
IV. Lead highly effective teams through servant leadership and be willing to invest in the
relationships and success of those around me

Action Plan
A. Find a career that I am passionate about and allows me to see the impact I’m making
a. Use the rest of college to explore my passions and determine the right career
path or at least the right place to begin
b. Leverage my internship experience for new career opportunities
B. Seek mentors and leaders that are willing to invest in my success
a. Find mentors who are where I see myself in 2 years, 5 years, and 10+ years
b. Find mentors who can offer a wide variety of things such a spirituality,
professionalism, new perspectives, etc.
C. Contribute at a high level to the teams and organizations that I’m a part of
a. Take advantage of the campus leadership experience that I’m getting right now
b. Identify opportunities for continued growth by always looking ahead and
utilizing my network

Experiences, Resources and Opportunities

1. Management Leadership for Tomorrow
1.1. Next year I will be applying for this program. This is a nationally competitive
program for diverse students from across the country that has an aim to get
more underrepresented people in senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies.

1.2. This program focuses on professional development and places students in

internships with top companies and organizations in the world and would
contribute immensely to my young career
2. Study Abroad Opportunity
2.1. Thus far in college I have been to Toronto and Montreal, Canada, Israel, and
travelled the U.S. during one of my internships. I would like to go on at least one
more international experience before I graduate
2.2. I am most interested in studying in China or somewhere in Africa. I will find an
opportunity that UC offers in these places that is relevant to my interests and
career goals to gain more of a global and inclusive perspective
3. Graduate School and Nationally Competitive Awards
3.1. As of now, I am planning on obtaining a JD and/or MBA. I would like to position
myself to be a competitive applicant at some of the top law and business schools
in the country.
3.2. I will work on establishing a relationship with the NCA Office this school year so
that I can be a strong applicant for national awards and have access to resources
for the most competitive graduate programs and fellowships.

Accountability
- I will hold myself accountable to these goals, actions, and opportunities by checking in
on them at the end of every semester, assessing what I’ve done, and adjusting if
deemed necessary
- I will hold myself accountable by surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who
support my vision and goals and can challenge me to be the best version of myself
- I will hold myself accountable by building out time for a guided and intentional
reflection at least on a weekly basis so that I can evaluate and process my life
happenings and the path I’m on. When doing my end of the semester assessment, I can
bring together all of these reflections to see how things changed/grew throughout the
semester.
- I will hold myself accountable by using my faith as a compass for the direction I need to
be moving in my life
