re: Marc Lamont Hill, Ph.D. [https://tinyurl.com/y6xr3jg2]

This is the 30th document generated regarding this issue; the prior handout [provided to all trustees who
attended the 5/14/2019 meeting] distilled all prior data [https://tinyurl.com/yyvcbgcm]. Apparently, the
provision of the “Smoking-Gun!” citation from MLH’s book may have helped to prompt Temple’s
leadership to permit a ZOA spokesperson to provide prepared remarks [a copy of which will be remitted
as soon as it has been received]; I’m told this was an unprecedented event. This is what MLH wrote…

“To suggest that the VIOLENCE was unnecessary or entirely unjustified

would be to misunderstand the complexity of the story.”
—MLH, “Nobody” – page 80 [https://tinyurl.com/y6lad7sk]

…followed by rationalizations for the “tragic” Ferguson/Baltimore riots: “principled outrage…animated

many acts of resistance…an attempt to scar public tissue, to draw attention to a deeply troublesome and
long-standing state of civic affairs. By destroying government property, they were attempting to
momentarily disrupt [sic] the affairs of a State that was systematically killing them. By tearing down
commercial businesses, they were aiming to strike a blow against the crippling machinery of late
capitalism….” Inverting the aforementioned double-negative yielded his call-to-arms, demonstrating that
this rabble-rouser exuded moral-turpitude when unambiguously fomenting violence: “To UNDERSTAND
the complexity of the story is to SUGGEST that the VIOLENCE was NECESSARY and JUSTIFIED.”

Following the meeting, I chatted briefly with Provost Joanne Epps [as we descended the stairway with
another trustee]; she was carrying a bottle of liquor she had apparently won @ a medical school event.
After I ID’ed myself as having graduated Cheltenham High School a half-century ago with her, I asked that
we meet to discuss this issue (along with an experienced lawyer, whose expertise is university-affairs);
she declined, asking if I was going to attend the upcoming reunion, “…because it is far more important.”

It was a source of dismay also that, when I approached the University President and the Board Chairperson
with a simple query [“Are you going to issue a policy statement regarding MLH’s fomenting violence?”],
they initially cited the statement that was ½ year remote regarding the U.N. speech; after I noted that my
focus was on the NON-U.N. quotations, they said they will “discuss” issuing a follow-up comment. Later,
I was told that the only method to evince a policy-position is via this dyad, so follow-up seems indicated.

{Handouts were provided to the two reporters present, prior to a hastened departure to see “Endgame”;
my son and her lady-friend (recalling that I’d seen it once, to “prep”) lamented I had “wasted six hours of
my life” for they claimed the cameo-laden war-scene finale was dwarfed by a recent battle aired on TV.}

I unearthed a “lead” that will be pursued regarding this issue, but will refrain from elaborating until/unless
any substantive outcome is achieved; summer-recess has started, so it’s difficult to gauge a time-frame.

This is what the ZOA Executive Director Steve Feldman wrote on Facebook on May 14, 2019 at 6:45 PM;
“What you should know” [https://tinyurl.com/y32aauhy] does not include review of any of his books
and, thus, doesn’t cite the “Smoking Gun!” hyperlinked on page #1 herein; nevertheless, it is a
succinct distillation of the multiple ways he has manifest “Intersectionality” against America/Israel:

The Zionist Organization of America is not giving up on its call for Temple University to
take action against its Jew-hating anti-Israel professor Marc Lamont Hill. We may be the
last group still pursuing this -- but that's ok. Hill continues to go around the country
slandering Israel and the Jewish People, perverting the truth and distorting history --
exactly what a university would want one of its professors to do, right?
This afternoon, Temple's trustees met -- and we were there. One of our officers got to
address the trustees (thanks to Hashem and a wee bit of Steve magic), and we got to
hand-deliver this report linked below to each trustee who attended -- plus we spoke with
a few of them after the meeting.

This is not over!

If you are a donor, an alum, a parent or a student -- you must continue to speak out. Tell
other what Hill has done and continues to do. He incites violence and hatred, lies through
his teeth, supports convicted cop-killers and terrorists including bombers who committed
murder and the hijacker of an American passenger flight.

Continue contacting the board, Dean David Boardman and anyone else connected with
the school including the Alumni Association -- especially if you are a communications
graduate.

If you know donors or any trustees, call, email, reach them on social media. Be polite.
Offer examples of what Hill is doing as well as the facts.

Keep up the activism!

TEMPLE HAS ONLY ADDRESSED HIS ANTI-ISRAEL QUOTATIONS IN ITS PRIOR “CONDEMNATION” LETTER;
TEMPLE HAS YET TO ADDRESS THE OTHER FACETS OF HIS [MIS-]CONDUCT DETAILED IN THESE MEMOS,
ENCOMPASSING THE CONTRACT-VIOLATIONS, THE INABILITY TO CLAIM ACADEMIC-/SPEECH-FREEDOM,
THE MORAL TURPITUDE [FOMENTING VIOLENCE AND LEADING VILE CHANTS THAT CURSED-OUT CNN],
AND THE OTHER FACETS OF HIS RHETORIC [E.G., AGAINST RULE-OF-LAW, POLICE, PRISONS] THAT HAVE
REFLECTED ADVERSELY UPON TEMPLE [BOTH WITHIN THE ACADEMIC AND LAY COMMUNITIES].

The most efficient way to get up-to-speed is to view two documents. The initial (12/6/2018) letter showed
how he violated the four-point distillation of contractual-criteria with which all University Professors must
comply; it also rebutted myriad “facts” upon which he has predicted his anti-Jew, racist-anarchist rhetoric
[https://tinyurl.com/y6uer8u8]. Letter #8 (1/3/2019) summarized inter alia two op-eds I had co-authored
that illustrate the import of this issue and why speech-/academic-freedom cannot be invoked to protect
him against the claim he is disclaiming the nonviolence of MLK-Jr./Gandhi [https://tinyurl.com/ycxlubk3].

Silence denotes Appeasement and, thus, Compliance….
