EXPRESSIONS OF QUANTITY

1. SOME / ANY (1 ít, 1 vaøi)


- some + danh töø ñeám ñöôïc / khoâng ñeám ñöôïc (duøng trong
caâu khaúng ñònh)
Ex: Some pens are on the tables.
There is some ink in the inkpot.
- any + danh töø ñeám ñöôïc / khoâng ñeám ñöôïc (phuû ñònh vaø
nghi vaán)
Ex: There aren't any pens on the table.
2. MANY / MUCH / A LOT OF / A GREAT DEAL / A LARGE NUMBER OF

some)
Ex: The house isn't full. There are a few rooms empty.
He isn't popular. He has few friends.

A: Can you give me some ink?
B: Yes, I can give you some. I’ve got a little ink in my pen.
4. MOST (OF) / ALL (OF) / SOME (OF) / MANY (OF) …
most / some / all / many + (Adj) + Noun (soá nhieàu)
Ex: Some people are very unfriendly.
