Topic 1: Typical Carnot Cycle

The goal of the program is to calculate the necessary values such as the turbine work, heat
transfer, pump work etc. in a typical heat pump operating in a Carnot cycle problem.

Topic 2: Phase Change

The program aims to identify the state of the pure substance whether it is a compressed
liquid/ subcooled liquid, saturated liquid, saturated liquid vapor, saturated vapor, and superheated
vapor. The program will require at least two parameters (can be temperature, pressure, specific
volume, specific heat, or specific entropy) and it is limited to substance R-134a. The result will be the
phase of the substance, together with the Temperature-specific volume diagram of the given
properties.
