First part

F: Good Morning, today we are gathered here to talk about a serious problem that it has
become very frequent in the school or wherever

J: Thanks for the invitation Ms Fernandez, as a part of the community. I’m conscious that
we already don’t have turned a blind this problem anymore, so that I consider that we
have to work together to solve it.

H: Yes, I totally agree as a teacher, I saw many cases about bullying and I could help
them, but sometimes when I see the news, I notice that not always do something to stop
this problem, so I opened my eyes and I thought something similar like your suggestion.

D: If everybody understood that bullying is a big problem, the bullies wouldn’t exist, so
I agree with you but what we do to stop this problem?

F: Of course it’s an excellent idea, but first of all, we have to what the exact causes of bullying
are and then we could find more solutions to take care of each child.

J: Without a doubt, in order to understand the causes of the harassment and other acts of
intimidation. It’s important to have open critical approach.

F: Not only that, in recently survey that showed a result that kids share the harassment that they
experience is linked to several different things like their hobbies, musical preferences, or what
sports they are interested in.

J: On the other hand, a child who acts aggressively suffers intimidation or something similar at
school or in the family the bullies receive this behavior when it becomes frequent. It feels
superior because it has the support of other bullies and it happens when I child have a little
capacity to respond to the aggression.

F: And besides, the child can have aggressive attitudes as a way of expressing their feelings in a
family environment with not much affect, where there are situations of dysfunctional families,
abuse done by parents. To give you an idea, they could intimidate another people, beat someone
up, lose their temper, etc.

J: I strongly believe that while the bigger the school, the risks of bullying are higher, especially if
there isn’t have an effective control or vigilance. In addition, the news system of education have
models which children are exposed like the soft threat, the absence of limits a rules of
coexistence have influenced this type of behavior to occur more frequently.

Second part

D: I agree with your opinion about the causes of bullying, but now is the moment to focus in the
best option to solve this issue

H: In my experience the best option to stop a bully is expelled him.


D. I disagree, this is not the best solution. Take for example, if you do that this child could be a
criminal in the future because we didn’t stop him. Not only that, but imagine, this child could kill
someone if we didn’t stop at the moment.

H: Maybe you have a piece of reason but you didn’t think about the victims of bullying. To give
you an idea, not only a bully could be a killer also he victims of bullying can be. I support my idea
with a lot of cases of the real life.

D: That is certain, we need to not only focus in the bullies also we need to help the victims. To
resume my opinion the schools need to improve their control.

H: Not only that, the school need to have an special group to educate the bad parents. I’m
convinced that the bullies grow up in bad environments.

D: I think that is a good idea to reduce the cases of bullying.

Conclusion part:

F: To conclusion, as David said that we had to act immediately, before happening a bad situation,
so If we could make an effort to educate our children about the harm that bullying causes,
bullying would disappear. All of our children need to feel safe and comfortable at school.
