EVENT REPORT

This report is based on the ACS event “Young Professional half-day” that I have attended last year on
November that was held on the Kirribilli club.

After the first speaker finished his speech, there was a 10 min break and then the program started again.
The program was hosted by Sojendra. He introduces us to the next speaker which was the second speaker
for the day "Elaine Davis". She was a founder of the New-road property and personality profiler of U R
Dynamic. She is specialized to identify the person’s weakness and strength and helps them to overcome
that weakness.

Finally, after a few minutes of the name announcement she arrives on the stage and crowd clapped and
welcomed her. Her voice was so strong and confident. She started giving us her introduction and where
she works and how she can help us too.

She started giving us tips to make our resume strong. She also gives us tips to be more confident in the
interview which plays a great role in the selection process. She mentioned that how important is to
present our self correctly in the resume. Apart from resume she also gave us tips about dressing and
physical appearance while attending the interview. Throughout the speech, she focused on resume
writing and the interview process and provide us great tips too.

Finally, in the end, she asked us to know our strengths and follow our dreams that will lead to success one
day which was very motivational for me. She also gave her contact detail to contact whenever we need

help through our career. At last, she wished good luck for our future and left the stage. Then the program
host Sojiendra came and announced the 30 min break and suggest us to make new friends, build a rapport
in this break.
