CCS (CONDUCT) RULES

1. Under CCS (Conduct) Rules, when a Government Servant seeks permission under Rule 18 (2)
or (3), the time limit beyond which permission may be assured to have been granted by the
competent authority in the absence of any communication:-
A) 15 days (B) 30 days (C) 45 days (D) 60 days
2. A Group ‘A’ Government Servant shall make a report to the Government, when the value of
the gift received by him on the occasion of his marriage/ anniversary etc. from a friend/ near
relative exceeded:-
(A) Rs. 7000 (B) Rs. 4000 (C) Rs. 2000 (D) Rs. 1000
3. A Group ‘B’ Government Servant shall make a report to the Government, when the value of
the gift received by him on the occasion of his marriage/ anniversary etc. from a friend/ near
relative exceeded:-
(A) Rs. 7000 (B) Rs. 4000 (C) Rs. 2000 (D) Rs. 1000
4. A Group ‘C’ Government Servant shall make a report to the Government, when the value of
the gift received by him on the occasion of his marriage/ anniversary etc. from a friend/ near

(A) Rs. 7000 (B) Rs. 4000 (C) Rs. 2000 (D) Rs. 1000
5. A Group ‘D’ Government Servant shall make a report to the Government, when the value of
the gift received by him on the occasion of his marriage/ anniversary etc. from a friend/ near

(A) Rs. 7000 (B) Rs. 4000 (C) Rs. 2000 (D) Rs. 1000
6. A Group A/ Group B Government Servant shall make a report to the prescribed authority when
he enters into a transaction in r/o movable property if the value of the property exceeded:-

7. A Group C/ Group D Government Servant shall make a report to the prescribed authority when
he enters into a transaction in respect of movable property if the value of the property exceeded:-

8. For the purpose of Rule 18 of CCS (Conduct) Rules, the expression movable property does not
include

CCS (PENSION) Rules 1972
1. The provision of CCS (Pension) Rules 1972 shall apply to
(A) Railway servants (B) Persons paid from contingencies (C) Civilian government servants in
