MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME

TO FILE AN ANSWER

DEFENDANT, through the undersigned counsel, respectfully

avers– THAT:
1. Defendant received a copy of the summon for the above
case on November 04, 2018. Hence, the period to submit
his Answer expires today;

 2. However, Defendant needs additional time to gather
relevant documents and witnesses material to his defense;

3. Thus, the undersigned counsel really has no sufficient

time to intelligently prepare and submit Defendant’s
Answer;

4. Thus, Defendant prays for another period of fifteen (15)

days from the date of deadline, i.e., up to December 04,
2018 to file his Answer; and

5. This motion is not intended to delay the proceedings but

solely for the purpose mentioned above.

PRAYER
WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed of the Honorable Court
that defendant be given another fifteen (15) days or up to December 04,
2018 to file his Answer;

Other reliefs just and equitable under the circumstances are also
prayed for.
