At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. recognize the elements of the story in the play through Rip Van Winkle,
2. appreciate Philippine myths and legends (superstitions) by understanding
elements of short story in the play, and
3. produce a short playback theater performance reflecting their personal
experiences on Philippine superstitions.

the Birth of the American republic. The time
when America started to emerge from their
rubbles and the remnants of their war with the
British Monarchy.

were really quite famous during their time.
You can also interview your parents or maybe
aunts.

Afterwards, I want you to make a myth of

your own based from your interview and
choose any of the following to serve as your
final output.
1. Podcast/ Radio drama
 2. Video of you telling a story
3. Make a script using your classmates as
the characters or actors and actresses.
