Problems I may encounter when How I plan to resolve
researching and planning
A problem I may encounter when I plan to resolve this by planning
researching and planning is going what im actually going to research
off topic from what my prior to my research time so that I
documentary is actually about. can ensure that I stay on task the
entire time.
Time management is something I I will ensure that I use my time wisely
have always really struggled with as by following my production
when I am given lots of different schedule but also by making it really
tasks , rather than completing one detailed in order to make it easier
and moving on to the next I tend to for me to see where I am at with the
stress about time and leave a task task ahead, but also to ensure I
uncompleted and then move onto don’t spend too much time on tasks
a different task like storyboards which can be really
time consuming.
Another problem I may encounter is Because I have learnt from previous
getting enough survey responses. In productions that facebook isn’t the
previous productions I have found best platform to get survey
that not many people tend to responses on, I have decided to do
answer my surveys when I post them all survey’s through Instagram . This

reach a larger audience as my

because it makes it easier for the

A problem I could face when filming I plan to resolve this by filming on my

Mid Project check-up (After Research and planning)
As I predicted , I felt really overwhelmed with the amount of tasks I wanted
to complete for the research , so I had to break it up and look at each
individual section and what exactly I wanted to research in order to not go
off topic and unintentionally research irrelevant things. My planning has
been fine but its just been really stressful trying to stay on top of current tasks
whilst continuing to complete tasks that were set a while ago. This is due to
my poor time management . I am primarily doing my planning at home
whilst continuing to finish research in college. I am also going to be doing
research into locations and exhibitions that I can film at and ensuring I can
film there and that the dates match up . There are still other areas I want to
research which would be relevant to my production so I plan to do them if I
have additional time after submitting my final edit .

End of project review


My biggest problem was not doing the tasks in the lesson , and overestimating how much
time I actually had to complete this project. At first 14 weeks seems like a very long time
but I felt like I opened my eyes and I was a week before the final deadline . Looking back, I
think I should have made so much more of an effort to submit work on interim deadlines
so that I could have got as much feedback on my work as possible to get improvements.
Another regret of mine was that I didn’t complete weekly blogs week by week as they are
something I have always struggled with and I find really tedious . If I had just done them
once a week in a lesson than it would have really benefitted me in the long run as I
wouldn’t have let them build up so I had like 13 to do at once ontop of other work.
