NIV - Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due
time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Note to the educator

The natural inclination when we begin to pray is to bow our heads in humility. When we are
humble, we are in a position to hear our dear Lord. When we feel overwhelmed in school,
the remedy is to humble ourselves. When we are troubled, we need to take our anxieties

and literally cast them upon Him. He loves us so much that He wants to remove the burdens
from us, but we have to cast them upon Him believing that He is a Promise Keeper Who will
lift us up in due time. Be patient. He will help.
