If you wish to print the files, open them using Acrobat Reader

version 6 or later (which can be downloaded for free from the

Internet).
Click File (on the Menu) then Print.
Set Paper Size to A4 or any size as desired.
Set Paper Layout to Landscape
Set Page Scaling to Multiple Pages per Sheet
Set Pages per Sheet to Custom and to 2 pages by 1 page
Set Page Order to Vertical.
In this manner, the books can be printed in half the total number
of pages with very readable text.
