One interest I have and have had in my life is something that is all around us and is shown by

everyone every day whether or nor anyone wants to admit it. My interest is in MEMES. Memes
make the world more interesting and are responsible for basically every culture, belief, or
invention we have today. I can talk about memes all day, but that isn’t really a special thing as
we all talk about memes all day. The true definition of a meme is a representation or form of
expression an idea that ca be seen in many ways. Even a simple handshake is a meme as it
expresses the need of a formal introduction toward another peer. Me being an expert on memes, I
take it upon myself to address the memeage wherever I hear the word. There are memes out there
that are annoying, overused, unoriginal, or too controversial where I even cringe to the thought
of it. These memes are usually made by those who either make memes to forward their image or
to be in a crowd for some unknown agenda, these people have two names: the fellow kid and the
normie.
A fellow kid is a memer who uses the influence of memes to give them an image of being a
fellow meme person even when they’re not. A normie is someone who doesn’t understand
memes at all and if they try to express humor through memes are cast back out of expression. I
used to be a normie who said the most random things just to be funny and I see now I probably
made others uncomfortable. For me to be a fellow kid however, would be unforgiving for
myself. The different kinds of memes I like are memes with a template and ones that viral
because these kinds have more possibilities of expression and reaching others than any other
kind of meme. Specific ones that are timeless are: the roll safe meme, the epic handshake,
idubbbz, and we are number one. Memes are a concept of their own and the function of concepts
a meme of its own, too.
“Memes can take the pain away of societal problems, it makes a place where people of different
background, interests, and uniqueness can conversate with one another”. If you feel like an
outcast (even if you are not really) memes are way of life anyone can enjoy and is always a part
of. There is no one or two people I turn to when I am down I a mood or need guidance, memes
are what I and everyone else turns to when in need of support. My number of role models has no
real number, but I still know who I aspire to from what I see around me. I learn from personal
experience mainly being those around me, my perspective on what is good and bad, and from
seeing the boldest, most extraordinary acts of expression that drive me to this today to overcome
anything no matter how deep or incredibly bizarre the situation is. This isn’t just what I think of
memes, this is what memes are for everyone, they just don’t know what it means yet.
