The SMU02B starts or shuts down the D.G. based on the remaining battery capacity to
ensure normal power supply and improve the D.G. fuel-to-electricity efficiency.
Hierarchical disconnection management
The SMU02B disconnects secondary loads before primary loads based on load
importance to prolong the power backup time for primary loads.
E-label reading
You can use the WebUI to view e-labels for various components in the power system to
facilitate asset management.
Alarm management
− Four types of alarm are supported.
− The 1000 historical alarms are supported.
− You can enable or disable alarm generation and configure alarm severities,
association with dry contacts, and alarm delay time in real time.
− Alarms can be provided by the buzzer or lamp.
Environment monitoring
The SMU02B checks for internal and external environment factors such as the ambient
temperature, ambient humidity, battery temperature, door status, water leak, and smoke,
and reports an alarm when detecting an exception.
Power distribution signal monitoring
The SMU02B checks power distribution for system voltage, signal-phase or three-phase
AC voltage, load fuse, battery fuse, and battery availability in real time, and reports an
alarm when detecting an exception.

Diesel Function The value meanings of this parameter are as Non Non
follows: Smart Ctrl
Non: Current
Disables D.G. management. Limit
Current Limit:
Limits the charge current for batteries to
control the output power of the entire
power system, so that the D.G. will not
fail to start/run due to system overload.
In this mode, the startup or shutdown of
the D.G. is not controlled, but the D.G.
running status needs to be input.
Smart Ctrl:
Determines whether to start or shut down
the D.G. based on the remaining capacity
and voltage of batteries. Batteries are
used to supply power first. The D.G. is
started to supply power when the
remaining capacity of batteries is low.
This lowers diesel fuel consumption and
prolongs the lifespan of the D.G.
NOTE
If you select Smart Ctrl, you are advised to use
deep cycle batteries (DCBs) because frequent
charges and discharges will occur in this mode.

DO ports are the external ports of the relay and correspond to the ALM series silk screens on
the user interface board. For details, see the Power System User Manual.
Alarm Description
If internal input voltage exceeds the specified range, the SMU02B generates an alarm for an
internal fault, indicating that a fault occurs in the internal circuits or external sensor circuits.
Alarm Description
The SMU02B generates an alarm if the mains voltage is below 50 V.
Alarm Description
The SMU02B generates an alarm if the phase voltage is below 50 V.
Alarm Description
The SMU02B generates an alarm if the AC voltage exceeds the AC overvoltage alarm
threshold (280 V by default). For a 220 V power system, the default AC overvoltage alarm
threshold is 280 V. For a 110 V power system, the default AC overvoltage alarm threshold is
