● What were the best and worst parts of Senior Project/Senior Seminar?
● List three things you now know after completing your Senior Project.
● What problems did you encounter, and how did you handle these problems?
● Which aspect of the Senior Project/Senior Seminar stretched you the most?
How did you feel about and react to this challenge?
● How has Senior Project/Senior Seminar changed you (skills, attitudes, work
habits, capabilities, confidence, poise, presentation, etc.)?
● What would you do differently if you had to do the whole Senior Project/Senior
Seminar process again?
● What advice do you have for next year’s seniors?
● Has this experience influenced your future plans?
● What grade would you give yourself for your Senior Project and what
justification do you have for that grade?

● The best part of my senior project process was presenting it to my church and
seeing how excited everyone was about it and how my work paid off. The worst
part was trying to manage my time and figuring out how I wanted the website
to be laid out.
● Three things I now know after completing my senior project: time
management/backwards planning is very important, the web design process is
extraordinarily complex, and that web design is a cooperative process
● The main problems I encountered during my process were mainly errors that
popped up when installing and running certain programs. I worked together
with my mentor to look up and troubleshoot these errors.
● The part that stretched me the most was figuring out how to use the various
programs that my mentor had me install and figuring out what information to
put on the website. I was overwhelmed at first, but eventually I sat down and
made a plan and stuck to it.
● Senior seminar has taught me a lot about my personal work ethic and how I
can improve it. It has taught me the importance of managing my time
effectively, planning ahead and sticking to that plan, and the payoff that comes
with finishing a big project.
● If I were to do the whole process over again, I would have started earlier and
worked more frequently on the website, so that I would have time to add more
complex functions to the site.
● My advice for next year’s seniors is to, if possible, get your project done or
started during the summer. It will be a lot less stressful.
● This experience has slightly influenced my future plans in the sense that I now
know that I could enjoy web design as a hobby/side job, but probably not a
career.
● I would give myself a B+ because I built the website, but I didn’t achieve all
the cool functions I had plans for in the beginning because I didn’t manage my
time as effectively as I would have liked to.
