ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW
This group assignment aimed at achieving ability to think outside the box, thinking
logically and laterally, achieving ability to create ideas clearly both visually and
verbally, analyzing and implementing the ideas into reality. Moreover, communicate
effectively in a format appropriate to the discipline and report in a clear and concise
manner.
SCENARIO - 1
Students are required to form their own company (non-existent) and prepare the
company profile. Students need to choose one of the existing products that is new in
the market. The product must be tangible and movable. Moreover, they have to
create their own new brand and rebrand the chosen product under their company and
they have to create a commercial video showcasing their product and brand.

SCENARIO – 2
You have successfully chosen the product, created own brand and the commercial
video for your chosen product. It’s time to market your new product and show your
marketing strategies and activities. Make sure before you start marketing your product,
you have rebranded the product. (Make sure your Brand symbol & Logo appears
in your product’s body.)
SCENARIO - 3
You have successfully marketed the product. Now your product is a well-known
product in the market. It’s time to know the reaction of your customers about your
product, brand and commercial video of your product. Your next task is to Interview
5 of your customers who are interested to be familiar with your product / who have
already used the product and know about the brand and the commercial.
YOUR TASK (FOR VIDEO)
1. Make a list of 10 questions to ask your interviewee about their experience on your
product.
2. Before taking the interview, explain your product details, how it works, its usage
and benefits to your interviewee and show them the commercial video.
3. Start the interview after they get done with properly checking, using and judging
your product.
4. At last you must ask your interviewee to rate your product and commercial. (Out of
10)
5. The video can be 3-8 minutes long.
6. Use separate individual from your team for each interview session.
(The video must contain the explanation part given to the interviewee by the team
about product and commercial, the interview session between interviewee and
interviewer and the part where rating given by interviewee.)

Proper referencing is required following Harvard referencing style if and where
information from published work is required to be used.
Late submission will be penalized, Late submission after deadline (Week 12) =
50% marks will be deducted, (Week 13) = 70% marks will be deducted, (Week 14
onwards) = 80% marks will be deducted.
Not following question requirements will result in a penalty of at least 50% marks
deduction.
Presentation should be conducted in formal attire
To ensure best quality of work, the lecturer may ask you to alter your
assignment to meet expectation.
Make sure your Brand symbol & Logo appears in your product’s body.
Make sure all the group members name and student ID correctly typed in
cover page.
Deadline for Group Assignment submission is Week-11 (29th April – 3rd May
2019) in your respective classes.
