Whenever I look up in the sky, I always try to think what life would be like in Mars. The red-
stained and cold planet is always an interesting planet to me due to the researches done inside it to
prove that life must have been suitable there before. We have seen reports that water has been present
before in Mars, hence the rusty terrain and its air must have been breathable too before. Canals have
been present where alien life forms must have inhabited before. But who am I to judge if we could live
on Mars? I’m a wannabe astronaut who doesn’t even know that much about space. But then again,
trying to think how Mars could be habitable is an interesting thing to talk about.
This amusement started when I was about 3 rd grade. I had seen TV series about Martians,
especially the one in Justice League Animated with Martian Manhunter. I always wondered if Martians
were probably superheroes hidden under those terrains, with the people living near the core like Zion in
the Matrix. But those were just speculations because those were some of the things I watched before. As
I grew older, of course my mind matured and came to know better that Mars is not habitable, but then
news reports came out. It has been noted that Mars could possibly be liveable whenever we need to
jump planets. That news report sparked my amusement with Mars again. It led me to read more about
A few years past and the movie The Martian came out. It is entirely fictional but the possibility of
it being feasible in the future is still there. I got amused on how the main character survived in Mars in
an artificial habitat which made me think that it must be also possible to build an artificial habitat in
Mars. We could probably also survive a couple of years in Mars with a supply of oxygen from Earth
plants, but only a couple of years or so I guess. At some point a huge sandstorm might stir up and hit the
Now what if Martian life was really real? Now that would be the discovery of the century. People
have been trying to prove the existence of aliens for years. There have been countless accounts of UFOs
seen in the sky or cases of alien abduction where these intergalactic lifeforms would probe you in your
anus. There’s even theories that aliens were the ones who ruled humans before, which then gave birth
to the show Ancient Aliens, the show where one of the most famous memes was born.
I always believed in alien life. The universe is so fast that I think it is impossible to think that we
are the only life forms in the universe. There are probably other planets out there with life forms similar
to humans, and I would consider that thought as a fact. Aliens are real people, although there might not
There’s the possibility of life resistant to heat and toxic atmospheres might live in Mercury or
Venus and think that the probes we send out in space are their version of “UFO lifeforms” which would
just bring out a giant loop of who really are the aliens in the universe. But then again, there’s no basis if
this is real, I just looked at it as a fact that there really are some form of life out there.
Who knows, when humans visit Mars for the first time, the lifeforms in Mars will greet us, or
execute us for being aliens and trespassing in their planet. Who knows when we land in Mars, the alien
life in their will hide underground, keeping surveillance over the humans standing on their soil, and
when we dig up the ground we would uncover the martian lifeforms and technology. Or martian life is
similar to the Matrix where the life forms are hiding near the core since the surface is unhabitable after
years technological advancements which led to the destruction on the outside of Mars, making it
barren and unhabitable and then they seek for a messiah. They might even rever the humans as gods
Alien life truly is interesting. It keeps the mind alive with different theories which makes you
think a lot. I hope that someday in the future, we would already discover alien life form, and Mars would
