1 Meet professional ethics and responsibilities

- Meet codes of ethics and conduct established by regulatory


authorities, systems and schools.

Appropriate credit given to colleagues. I had permission from


the author of this document to use it as evidence as part of
my professional portfolio.

4.3 Manage challenging behaviour

- Manage challenging behaviour by establishing and negotiating clear


expectations with students and addressing discipline issues promptly,
fairly and respectfully.

This Positive Behaviour Management Plan was created by my EC


colleague and shows implementation of a range of strategies to manage
classroom behaviour. I was required to implement this particular Positive
Behaviour Management Plan in Term 3 2016 when I received a term
contract to cover my colleagues long service leave.

I continue to use the strategies that are outlined in this document to this
date. They reflect the PBS Program that we are currently implementing
by praising children and giving children choices.
