Recommendation: when planning for a complete organizational restructure.

The
management should always think about the emotional and psychological well
beings of the employee. Because if we do not take care of their psychological
being their job satisfaction may be affected and with that they may have poor job
performance.....

If employees have poor job performance the quality of their output or in the case
study their customer service may decline. Even though they are well trained. If
they do not trust the company, they still will not perform their best...

...In that regards, when planning for a lay off, the management must think about
the how to gradually deliver the news to the employees. For those people they
are planning to "tanggal (di ko maisip right term), they should give them
appropriate severance package depending on their length of tenure....

They also must explain to them if what will happen to the company if they do not
fire some of the employees....

For those who stays with the company. They can add some benefits for them.
Example is all old employees have additional vacation leave benefits and will be
trained to acquire new skills.

The management should also strengthen their employee relation where in they
should have a bulletin board where in the management can post their memos in
announcement. They should exercise their camaraderies by planning a weekly
lunch in the canteen with all the employees including the boss.

The management should strive be the "best friends" of the employees although
they should still maintain a gap between them.
