Technical Assumptions in 1.

5 Tendency Design:
 In 1.5 design the baseline was to dedicate 1.5 Fiber for each plot/house , i.e for 2 plots = 3 fibers , for
4 plots = 6 fibers and on the basis of that total numbers fiber cables capacity , Total Number of FDH
and their ports capacity calculated and 100% area of New Nazimabad covered
 One Level splitting of 2:64 purposed in FDH for Villas and 2 Level splitting ( 2:4/2:8 in FDH) for High
rise buildings and 2nd Level splitting ( 1:16 / 1:8 in FAT ) inside the building
 In 1.5 design one Joint Enclosure was covering 4 to 8 plots with farest distance of last plot from the
Joint Enclosure was 40 Meters.
 03 Rings purposed with 1+1 protection upto FDH level ,Higher capacity Feeder cables of 96/144F
purposed with 50% spare fiber cores capacity for future expansion and O&M purposes.
 In distribution section 12,24,48 and 96F capacity cables purposed
 Feeder duct route purposed at depth of 4 Feet with 4” Dia 1 Way HDPE Pipe having Feeder
Handholes size 3x4x5 ( Handhole size adjustable to 3x3x3 also per site situation)
 Distribution Duct route purposed at depth of 3 Feet with 2” Dia 1 Way HDPE pipe having
distribution Handholes size 2x2x3
 Drop duct of 1” Dia 1 Way purposed from Joint Enclosure/Handhole up to each customer house/plot
in same distribution trench to avoid frequent excavation for every customer connection in future.
 Sections where Feeder and distribution duct get common , for those sections feeder duct route
specification followed
 NAP stands for Network Access Point where Joint Enclosure placed to cover customers.
 Total 26 FDH ( 25 FDH of 288 Ports and 1 FDH of 144 Ports ) purposed to cover whole New
Nazimabad
 One OLT purposed in Central Office to feed all FDH.
Technical Assumptions in 2.0 Tendency Design:
 In 2.0 design, baseline is set to dedicate 2.0 Fiber for each plot/house , i.e for 2 plots = 4 fibers , for 4
plots = 8 fibers and on the basis of that total numbers fiber cables capacity , Total Number of FDH and
their ports capacity calculated and 100% area of New Nazimabad covered
 One Level splitting of 2:64 purposed in FDH for Villas and 2 Level splitting ( 2:4/2:8 in FDH) for High
rise buildings and 2nd Level splitting ( 1:16 / 1:8 in FAT ) inside the building
 In 2.0 design one Joint Enclosure covering 8 to 12 plots with farest distance of last plot from the Joint
Enclosure 65-70 Meters.
 03 Rings purposed with 1+1 protection upto FDH level, higher capacity feeder cables of 96F
purposed with 25% spare fiber cores capacity for future expansion and O&M purposes.
 In distribution section 12,24,48 and 96F capacity cables purposed
 Feeder duct route purposed at depth of 4 Feet with 4” Dia (1 Way) HDPE Pipe having Feeder
Handholes size 3x4x5 ( Handhole size adjustable to 3x3x3 also per site situation)
 Distribution Duct route purposed at depth of 3 Feet with 2” Dia (1 Way) HDPE pipe having
distribution Handholes size 2x2x3
 Drop duct of 1” Dia (1 Way) purposed from Joint Enclosure/Handhole upto each customer
house/plot in same distribution trench to avoid frequent excavation for every customer connection
in future.
 Sections where Feeder and distribution duct get common , for those sections feeder duct route
specification followed
 NAP stands for Network Access Point where Joint Enclosure placed to cover customers.
 Total 33 FDH of 288 Ports purposed to cover whole New Nazimabad
 One OLT purposed in Central Office to feed all FDH.
