I. Objectives
At the end of the session, the students should be able to:
a. discuss the nature of non-communicable diseases
b. explain non-communicable diseases based on cause and effect, signs and symptoms,
risk factors and protective factors and possible complications
c. practice ways to prevent and control non-communicable diseases
d. promote programs and policies to prevent and control non-communicable diseases

Make a creative brochure that informs your classmates about NCD’s , cause and
effect, signs and symptoms and prevention and control of NCD’s.
Group 2: Song/Poem
Write a song or poem that focuses on NCD’s, causes and effect, signs and
symptoms and prevention and control of NCD’s.
Group 3: Role Play
You will make a short role play about the prevention and control of NCD’s
