Exp is currently looking for an Engineer in Training to join our Brampton office.

Your Responsibilities
•Assisting with assessment of problems/failures in new and existing structures
•Assist in specialty structural testing on site and in the lab
•Assist in analysis of components of steel, aluminum, concrete, masonry and wood structures
•Work with other senior and/or junior engineers collaboratively
•Participate in meetings with owner and other consultants
•Participate in construction site meetings carry out site reviews and site assessment

•Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering from a recognized University.

•Minimum 0 to 3 years’ experience as an Engineer in Training and/or related experience.
•Knowledge of structural engineering such as structural steel, aluminum design, concrete, masonry and wood design relating to
buildings and other structures is an asset.
•Field experience on construction sites, conducting general reviews for compliance with drawings and specifications, and writing site
reports is an asset.
•Experience with computer analysis software.

•Team player with the proven ability to work independently with minimum direction.
•Hard worker, who is eager and willing to assume responsibility.
•Commitment and dedication to client service as well as technical excellence.
•Demonstrated and effective communication skills and the ability to handle changing needs while working effectively with diverse
groups.
•Strategic thinker with the ability to determine what work is required and draw rational conclusions from all available information.
•Valid driver’s license is required.
