Week 12 Reflection Journal 

This week kicked off with a holiday on Monday. It was very relaxing to have an 

added day off to recharge, especially with the semester coming to a hectic close. Finals are 

looming in my mind on top of projects and final assignments. This week, we went out into 

the field for our final observation. It was a group assignment, which was different, but 

turned out to be good. It was a weird transition time for our scheduled observation time, 

but I’m sure that we still got some good observations to discuss. Overall, it was another 

opportunity to be in the field, which is always an awesome thing.  

I had to deal with some unexpected issues this week, which was a first-time 

experience for me. I hope it doesn’t happen again, because it was a really unwanted issue 

to have to deal with. This week’s discussion allowed us to go back and reflect on all that 

we’ve learned over this semester. It was really nice to look through my portfolio and see 

all of my hard work in one place. It gave me a nice mind boost going into these final 

weeks. I’ve accomplished so much over these past 12 weeks, and can push through to the 

end. Although, I have enjoyed this class, I’m excited to learn more in-depth information 

on the material we’ve covered so far at a higher level in San Diego.
