INTRODUCTION

The introducer Eng. Edoko Bitrus one of the worker their in the transmission
station. The Jos transmission current come from Ngwagi to Makurdi to jos it was
330/132/33KV station.

The Jos transmission it was invites in 1985 by the Government. The Jos
transmission is divide into three part.

1. 330Kv
2. 132KV
3. 33KV

The Jos transmission is supply to three state Namely:

1. Gombe
2. Bauchi
3. Kaduna
OBSERVATION

According to what we have observe that the Jos Transmission is divide into three
part the first part is 330 KV

330 Kv Station:- this station is consist of insulator.

1. INSULATOR:- is a material use to prevent heat electric or sound escaping

2. CURRENT BREAKER:- is use to make or Break current following through
station .
3. Seat Bit:- is a material which insulator and the breaker pic on its and use to
supply the voltage

132Kv Station :- this Station consist of transformer and reactor

1. Transformer:- is a electrical device that use to step up or step down current.

The transformer consist of the following part the Primary side and secondary side.

The current the come in to the primary side of the transformer(330kv) and when
the transformer step down in the secondary side it come out (132kv).

And also we C.V.T and B.T which is use to measure the flowing of current in the
transformer.

33kv station:- this station consist of transformer insulator and circuit breaker.

The transformer is 33kv is lower than the one in 132kv station and also the
transformer step down current from 132kv to 33kv then it was distribute to the
distributors

CONTROL ROOM

The control room is use to control all the device and the line in the station.

In the control the three station 330kv is color in blue then 132kv station is color
black 33kv is color green
CONCLUSION

In my conclusion the Jos transmission station have few workers and the Jos
transmission is very Large than the one in Biu and the Jos transmission is the one
that transmit the power to the three state which is Kaduna, Bauchi and Gombe

In summary the Jos Transmission is very good place their have try to see that all
three state have the power according to their population.

RECOMMENDATION

My recommendation is that the Jos transmission have try their work, but the
problem is from the government, one of the Jos transmission transformer has been
boat so let’s government try their best to repair those transformer.

And our way to Jos many poles has been fall down, my recommendation let
government try to replace those poles . I cant not forget my mento Dr. Ayodele
