This project's main purpose is to make us learn on our

interesting topic by our self along with how can we
demonstrate or create our product for the other which
also answered question that we have. This report is only
using for giving knowledge, information for learning and
further research which related to this topic, not to make

Background

As lessons that we have took from physics class is

included the topic of gravity, magnetic force, and
linear motion. Our group come up with the
project about how could we adapt the property
of magnet for usage in term of transportation. So,
our group come up with the model that represent
the train rail to demonstrate our technical idea
about transportation using magnet.

Objective

Our main purpose is use our model to

demonstrate how magnetic could be involved in
the way of transportation. This research contains
with ideas, critical thinking, also discussion on the
final product and process part as we would like
our project to represent as much possibility that
this project could lead to.

Idea and Plan

First we come up with technical idea of how

this project would work, so we will crate train
rail which consist of magnet, also car which
have been attached with magnet.

So according to our ideas and plan, we use
the property/ability of magnet to push and
pull. We use one side of the magnet with the
rail and also the same side of magnet on the
car to make both of them push each other.

Materials

Tamiya Car(Optional)
Car that can be use with this rail can be other
car ex. remote control car, in this case we use
Tamiya car as it can drive by itself and has
less weight than remote control car.

Magnet

The main material of this project, which will

be arrange in shape of rail and also will be
stick with the car

Wood plank

Wood plank will be use as the main structure

part of this project as it will be use as base for
the magnet and the wall of the rail, also some
small details of the rail.

Cardboard

Will be use as the legs of the structure

Glue gun and glue stick

Most of our attachment is process by the use

of glue gun and glue stick.

Electric Drill and Saw

Use to cut, also decorate the main structure

part, the wall, and also the car station.

Process

First, create the plan for the project, also the

overall measurement.

Second, stick magnet to the wood plank and
also the car using glue gun.

Cut one of the wood plank in half (long side)
and stick the the base wood as the wall of the
rail way.

Cut the end of both side of the rail way to be
use as the represent of the car station.

Cut the card board in box shape with one
open side, use glue gun the stick each end
together. and also spray for decoration.

Stick the card board the the wood base as the
legs of the rail way.

Stick the upper wood with the wall to make
sure the car won't push with the magnet to
hard that it bounced off the rail way.

Discussion

We successfully prove that with the chosen

scale, the car has been obviously push by the
magnet force. We have proved that this idea
of transportation with involved of magnet
force is possible and can be seen in the near
future, or right now, it also can be seen in
some countries such as China and Singapore.

We think that magnetic rail train will benefit

the world and lead the world to the better
future. As it can fixed the problem of fuel
uses and clean energy.

Along our project, we also come up with the
new idea that magnet force isn't only can be
use to elevate the car but also can be use to
stick the car with rail, it gave us the other
perspective and idea that why define the
magnet involve in transportation by just one
way while there are a lot of possibility and
many creative ways that magnet could be
use. In our final product you will also heard
about the explanation and demonstration of
the way that we use our magnetic the new
idea.
