I. OBECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:

A. Understand the uses of multimedia.


B. Familiarize the different types of multimedia
C. Gained knowledge in empowering technologies.

Game called “Pinoy Henyo” that will reveal the lesson
C. LESSON PROPER
1. Ask 3-5 students on what they want to earn about the topic.
2. Technical Terms.
MULTIMEDIA - is defined as the mixture of different content forms such as text, music,
photos or images, interactive content, animations or videos.
ADVERTISEMENT – a notice or announcement in a public medium promoting a product.
ENTERTAINMENT- it is form of activity that holds the attention and interest of an
audience, or gives pleasure and delight.
PRESENTATIONS- a process of presenting a topic to an audience.
3. Discussion.
Where Did It All Begin?

That is hard to say, but one of the earliest and best-known examples of
multimedia was the video PONG. Developed in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell (the founder of a then-new
company called Atari), the game consisted of two simple paddles that batted a square “ball” back and
forth across the screen, like tennis. It started as an arcade game, and eventually ended up in many homes.
D. ACTIVITY
DIRECTION: Create a multimedia using linear. Example Cinema Multimedia.
E. GENERALIZATION
Multimedia applications target the satisfaction of the audience. Multimedia is also referred
to as rich content because of its abundance of variation in presenting information. It is able to stimulate
the different senses because you are able to see, hear, listen, and interact with it.

VI. ASSIGNMENT:
Group yourself into 5 and create a sample multimedia presenting or endorsing a product.
