( The teacher shows artworks)

Yes, Apple? different colors.

Very good.

The artworks I’ve shown you are drawings
consisting of elements of art.

Based on what I said. Who can guess the

lesson for today? Sir the lesson for today is Lines and Colors.
Yes (name of student)?
Very good.

Our lesson for today are the two elements of art.

Lines and Colors

The first element we are going to discussed is:

LINE
Will you read? Line, An element of art defined by a point
Yes (name of student)? moving in space. Line may be two-or three-
dimensional, descriptive, implied, or abstract.

Who can give me an example of line?

Yes (name of student)? Sir Horizontal, Vertical, Oblique, and Curved
line.
Very good. Can someone identify what is
horizontal, oblique and a curved line?
Yes (name of student)?

The first one is horizontal line. Horizontal lines

generally travel from left to right.

Next is vertical line. Vertical lines travel up and

down; they're perpendicular to horizontal lines.

Third is an oblique line. Olblique lines are slanted.

Lastly is, curved line. Curved lines are softer

than straight lines. They sweep and turn
gracefully between end points. They are less
definite and predictable than straight lines.

As you know class lines are very important on

creating an artwork. Because we can’t form anything without lines.
Any idea why?
Yes (name of student)?

Thank you and correct.

Next element:

Color
This is the element of arts made up of three
properties:
1. Hue: name of color
2. Value: hue’s lightness and
darkness (a color’s value
changes when white or
black is added)
3. Intensity: quality of
brightness and purity (high
intensity= color is strong and
bright; low intensity= color is
faint and dull)

Give me the three primary colors? Sir Blue, Red and Yellow.
Yes Rose.

colors. I want you to make an artwork and
