SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROJECT
DABUR INDIA LTD. APRIL 2018 TO MAY 2018
 Studied and compared the sales and distribution channel of Dabur with its major competitors in the assigned
territory in Howrah
 Conducted a primary survey using a questionnaire to find out the issues the retailers are facing regarding
distribution of products in Howrah
 Gained in-depth insight about the gaps in the sales and distribution network of Dabur in Howrah
 Learnt about the scope and functioning of distributors in the value chain of the FMCG industry

KEY PROJECTS
 Aspire to Achieve (A2A): An Intra- b-school competition wherein my team made a presentation containing the
research and findings on the gems and jewellery sector in India to a panel of judges from the industry. Our
presentation secured the 1st position in the competition

 Brand Wars: An Intra-b school competition where we created the marketing and branding strategy for launching
a new brand of shoe polish in West Bengal market. Our team secured the champion’s trophy in the competition
which was adjudged by industry veterans. I along with being the lead presenter was also part of the Research and
Development team and helped our team in launching a hypothetical brand of shoe polish (TWYN) in the premium
segment
 Ultimate Start-up Plan (USP): An Intra-b-school competition where I presented an unique start up idea of
preparing leather from chicken skin and secured 3 rd position in the competition
 Start-up Challenge: We formulated a profitable start-up in photography and presented a marketing plan on the
same

ACHIEVEMENTS
 Lead Presenter of Aspire to Achieve and secured 1 st position in the competition
 Lead Presenter of Brand Wars and secured 1st position in the competition
 Lead Presenter of Ultimate Start-Up Plan and secured 3 rd position in the competition
