SBP Maintenance service product

This sales news is to announce that the model code and the ordering procedures for all SBP maintenance
service products will be changed to comply with the new accounting standard IFRS 15.

1. Change of Model codes

All model codes of the maintenance service products will be changed: “SV3” is added to the head of a model
code.
e.g.: Exaopc

Product Current Model Code New Model Code

Exaopc NTMF100 SV3NTMF100

The order of current model codes will be terminated on July 01, 2018.

2. Add new Suffix Code (AMC Type)

"-N" or "-R" will be added to all model codes of the maintenance service products.
“N” : New contract
“R” : Renewal contract

3. Notes for Ordering
It is mandatory to enter the following information when ordering the maintenance service products.
・The Start Date and the End Date of AMC (See below (1) )
・License information (See below (2) )
・AMC period (See below (3) )

(1) Start Date and the End Date of AMC

It is mandatory to enter the Start Date and the End Date for annual maintenance contract (AMC).
A. AMC type = New (Maintenance service product should be ordered by suffix code "-N")
 Please enter Start Date of AMC as delivery date of License product.

B. AMC type = Renewal (Maintenance service product should be ordered by suffix code "-R")
 Please enter the next date of the current AMC “Support Expired date” (or “Support Till date”).
The “Support Expired date” is shown in "Support List" *1

e.g.) “Support Expired date”: July 5th → Start Date: July 6th

*1 Support List" is sent from YEF-GB(YMX) to the service department of overseas affiliate every month.

(2) License information

It is mandatory to enter the License Number (or License PO No.)
A. AMC type = New (Maintenance service product should be ordered by suffix code "-N")
 Please enter “License PO No.” of SBP product as target of AMC into specified item.

B. AMC type = Renewal (Maintenance service product should be ordered by suffix code "-R")
 Please enter “License Number” of SBP product as target of AMC into specified item.

(3) AMC period

It is mandatory to enter the AMC period in months into specified item.

4. Change of TOKUCHU Type
If an AMC period is not 1 year, it is necessary to request TOKUCHU.
When requesting a TOKUCHU for annual maintenance contract (AMC) on July 2 or later, please submit a
TOKUCHU according to the following new procedure because TOKUCHU Type will be changed.

Select "YOKOGAWA's Products,
Engineering & Service" in "Request for
Spec/Limited release TOKUCHU,
Engineering & Service Estimation, Buyout
Goods Estimation".
Select "Service special order request" and
then select "AMC" in the pull-down menu.

Notes for TOKUCHU request

TOKUCHU of the AMC product to be ordered after July should be submitted as a new TOKUCHU type
with a new model code.
