○ They do not need to be in your classroom. We want to funnel parent energy into
areas of concern. Ie. literacy groups, math tutoring, extra-curricular activities.
○ Volunteer opportunities can be filtered through our parent liason. (see below)
● How will we manage the quality of parent help?
○ All parent volunteers will interview with the principal after submitting a
volunteer application.
○ Parents will be able to sign-up for volunteer opportunities at the Welcome Back
Bash and then will be contacted by school leadership.

● How will we communicate with parents about volunteer opportunities?


● We will identify someone on staff as a parent liason/social media contact
to advertise volunteer opportunities and reach out to specific parents
