ANNUAL REPORT – STORY GUIDELINES

We are looking at stories at every level:

 Individual
 Team
 Department
 Plant
 Office
 Corporate
 Family

We are looking at stories that necessarily might not have made a huge impact on the top-line or
the bottom-line or not necessarily have earned an award for SCL; but we are looking at stories
that talk about the character, attitude and behavior of employees and their families at SCL that
confirms to the philosophy of Bruce Lee.

All in all we want to say that every employee and their family have imbibed in them a certain
character, attitude and a way of doing things. All combined creates an indomitable and
successful force called 'Shree Cement Limited'

THE FORM OF NO FORM - INGENUITY


Examples where Shree has come up with original ideas/solutions in the existing process or

GOING WITH THE FLOW - FLEXIBILITY

Examples where Shree is ever flexible to the changing needs of the market or the overall micro and
macro environment or the industry

Stories on flexibility where Shree encouraged flexibility at workplace by taking a different approach to
traditional/ defined ways of working.

 Flexible work hours: temporary changes in an employee's regular work schedule in order to
adjust for an unplanned, short-notice, or sporadic event
 Flexible work schedules : adjustments to the employee's regular work schedule on a recurring
basis to respond to work/life needs of an employee
 Flexible work locations : adjustments to the employee's regular worksite on short-notice or on a
recurring basis to respond to work/life needs of an employee and/or operational needs of the
organization

policies put into practice for handicap, terminally ill employees or employees on a family way

experience rather than strictly following the standards or set pattern
