PERBANDINGAN NILAI KELIMPAHAN BAGIAN UTARA DAN BARAT

DANAU REKTORAT KAMPUS C UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA

ABSTRK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan pengukuran produktivitas primer untuk
mengetahui perairan Danau Rektorat Kampus C Universitas Airlangga cukup
produktiv atau tidak dalam menghasilkan biomassa tumbuhan, terutama
fitoplankton serta pasokan oksigen yang dihasilkan dari proses fotosintesis
sehingga mendukung ekosistem dalam Danau Rektorat Kampus C Universitas
Airlangga. Produktivitas primer dapat digunakan sebagai indikator kualitas
perairan. Dalam pengukuran produktivitas primer untuk mengetahui
kelimpahannya dilakukan perbandingan dengan titik lokasi yang berbeda, titik
lokasi pertama dibagian utara sedangkan titik lokasi kedua dibagian barat. Dari
hasil perbandingan diperoleh bahwa pada titik lokasi bagian utara memiliki
kelimpahan yang lebih rendah dari titik lokasi bagian utara. Perbedaan hasil dari
kedua titik lokasi disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, seperti cahaya, suhu, oksigen
dan pH. Alasan dilakukan perbandingan yaitu untuk mensurvei setiap titik-titik
lokasi yang berada di perairan Danau Rektorat Kampus C Universitas Airlangga.
Berdasarkan pemaparan perbandingan kelimpahan dari titik lokasi yang berbeda
diatas dapat diketahui bahwa tinggi rendahnya suatu kelimpahan dipengaruhi oleh
faktor-faktor yang berada di sekitarnya.

Abstract
This research is motivated by the measurement of primary productivity to
determine Rectorate Campus C Airlangga University Lake is quite productive or
not in producing plant biomass, especially phytoplankton and the supply of
oxygen produced from photosynthesis to supporting the ecosystem in Rectorate
Campus C Airlangga University Lake. Primary productivity can be used as an
indicator of water quality. In measuring primary productivity to find out its
abundance a comparison is made with different location points, the first location
point is in the north while the second location is in the west. From the results of
the comparison, it was found that at the northern point of location it has lower
abundance than the northern location point. The difference results of two location
points is caused by several factors, such as light, temperature, oxygen and pH.
The reason for the comparison is to survey each location point in the waters of
Rectorate Campus C, Airlangga University Lake. Based on the explanation of the
abundance comparison from different location points above, it can be seen that the
high and low of an abundance is influenced by the factors around it.
