I. Learning objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. identify the different kinds of pronoun;
b. form sentences replacing the nouns with the correct pronoun; and
c. distinguish the differences between the different kinds of pronoun

1. Review

2. Motivation

Before we proceed to our new


topic we will have an activity, First I (the students will count and make a circle)
will group you into two then you
will make a circle.

Demonstrative pronoun used to point and

distance.

SINGULAR

This – used to point a singular noun that


refers to a person or thing near the speaker.

That – used a singular person or thing that is


far from the speaker.

PLURAL

These – refers to two or more people or


things that are near the speaker.

Those - refers to two or more people or


things that are far the speaker.

Examples:
1. This chair is new (near) but those chairs are
