Information Communication Technology is important to our daily living as a human, through

this we can communicate other people that living away from us. As you observe today’s
century, there are many different technologies that we can use in our works. We live now in
a world full of social interest because we can work through the use of internet connections.
In this century many of students like me had an internet connection, because even though
I'm in the school I can communicate my friends, and if the teachers give an assignments that
needed to research I can do the task easier and I don’t have to go in the library and look for
a book and find the right page.

As a student I always attach wit lot of essential things in my life, ICT help me for my studies
and to communicate other, my family living away from me. Everyday I need an internet
connections even I’m in the school because if there are words that I can’t understand, It’s
easier to me to research to internet.

To use of ICT I can easier understand my chosen professional track (HUMSS) it help me to
study my lessons that I can’t understand. And it can help me to develop my skills to the field
of my chosen track.

And ICT help our society to grow more business, it give people’s opportunity to work even
they are in their home and also reducing to the need of travel into their works or offices. It
can also help other big company to expand their business through the use of social media,
dealing with their clients through internet.

THE ONLINE PLATFORMS

Online platforms is the computer application or a websites that allows you to post anything
to update, comments and many things that websites can work Even to publish, manipulate
and delete web content.

Social media is become prominent parts of life for many young people today. Most people
engage with social media without stopping to think what the effects are on our lives, whether
positive or negative. There are many positive aspects, but there are equally as many dangers
that come with the use of sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and etc. This sites are
popular to the students have a habit of posting some pictures to update and comments too.
Social media maybe good for who those use this correctly but many of people says that it can
affect our life privacy. Yes it is true that social media can affect our privacy in life, if we don’t
use this correctly and responsible.

Information Communication Technology (ICT) is a contemporary form of connectivity

among humankind from different parts of the world and thus changed the system of life. It
has a great influence in every individual, in the society, and particularly in my chosen track
which is Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS).

First of all, ICT is a very essential aspect in our daily lives because it makes our work easier
and quick. It is very important for us to be captivated in ICT because the world of
technology is really moving faster, now that we are in 21st century. We cannot let ourselves
to be behind with the modernization of our world, nor we want to be updated of what are
happening not only in our own community but also across the globe.

The impact of computer technology nowadays in the context of our life is can be seen
through the way of living of the people in one community and its very undisputable that
social media nowadays had play a big role in our daily lives. We cannot withstand even one
day to do not post a status update in facebook, twitter, instagram and etc; simply because
we want to share or gather informations or it’s just that we are used to it and we consider
social media as part our everyday life. In all walks of life, through ICT, negotiations become
easy, fast, and reliable like in sending messages, money transmit, delivery of services, relief
and rescue operations providing early warning in case of disasters and calamities to insure
safety of the community. ICT is indeed marvelous to mention the Global Positioning System
(GPS) which is used in tracking the locations of airplanes, ships, vehicles, and other forms
of transportation for the purpose of giving immediate response in cases of emergency.

As a student ICT is certainly a great help to the acquisition of knowledge or skills through
experience, study, or by being taught. It helps access to information, quick and well-
founded researches. It develops precision through correct spelling, vocabularies, and other
language proficiency. For my personal life, I can connect to my parents, friends, relatives,
mentors and classmates and other people whom I wanted to approach.

In my chosen track which is Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), ICT literacy plays a
valuable role. It enhances education and embolden deep and authentic learning. In our
track/strand, we are more engage in the study of human behavior and societal changes,
analysis of arts, culture, literature, and politics. It involves political science, anthropology,
linguistics, psychology, and communication. We are sight to do a lot of research and essays
wherein we will need the use or utilization of ICT. This will be a very great utility for us to
access and gather data to have a deep and great knowledge about a certain topic. The main
goal of ICT is to lift up the way of living of the human beings, or moreover ICT is one of our
greatest asset for learning and development which will lead to success.
