2. Design a small signal buffer amplifier with NPN transistor using Voltage divider biasing technique with the
following specifications. VCC = 10V, ICQ = 3mA and β = 120. Determine the bandwidth, midband gain and
gain bandwidth product of the amplifier.
3. Design a small signal two stage RC coupled amplifier with NPN transistor using Voltage divider biasing
technique with the following specifications. VCC = 15V, ICQ = 4mA and β = 200. Test the frequency
response of the circuit in software. Determine the bandwidth, midband gain and gain bandwidth product of

4. Design a two stage RC coupled amplifier using NMOS with the following specifications. VDD = 10V, IDQ =
0.8mA, Kn’(W/L) = 0.5 mA/V2, VDS = 4V, Vt = 1V and fL = 1 kHz. Test the frequency response of the
circuit in software and determine the bandwidth and midband gain of the amplifier.
5. (a) Design a class B output stage to deliver an average power of 20W into a 8Ω load. The power supply

(b) Apply an input signal with a peak amplitude equal to supply voltage and calculate power conversion
efficiency and power dissipation in the transistors. Then set Vi = (2VCC/π) and repeat the above procedures.
(c) Observe the cross over distortion and plot the responses.
