The course is designed as a Final-Year Project where it consists of two phases, i.e.
engineering project in metal fabrication and welding Project I and engineering project in
metal fabrication and welding II.

12. Course Synopsis:


This course identifies the competence required to produce a metal fabrication and welding
engineering project that uses carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium or combination of
all the materials mentioned. The project will be fabricated and welded using SMAW, GTAW,
GMAW or FCAW process.
